Wildlife Victoria's Education Program

Wildlife Victoria is committed to engaging and educating people from school age through to seniors about our state’s unique native wildlife.

Wildlife Victoria offers interactive educational sessions that showcase our beautiful native fauna as well as the challenges they face in response to climate change, increased habitat destruction, and urbanisation. The program delivers an informative message about what people can do every day to help wildlife and to ensure better long-term wildlife outcomes.

Wildlife Victoria can tailor the delivery of the program to suit your school or organisational needs.

For school-based presentations, the program follows the Australian Science Curriculum and for ResourceSmart Schools, the presentation complements the biodiversity module.

Please note – Wildlife Victoria’s Education Program is currently on hold. If you are interested in organising a school or organisation visit, please complete the form and we will be in touch shortly.

Explore the map to see a sample of the animals that needed our help in your local area last month. Each point on this map relates to a single animal, or family of animals, reported to Wildlife Victoria last month.

We get so many calls that not all our cases fit on the map, accordingly, this map is not an exact reflection of all our cases from the month. This map should only be used as an indicative sample.
