How you can help
Wildlife Victoria is a not-for-profit charity connecting sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife in Victoria with the help they need.
With no government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of the community to continue our vital work to help Aussie wildlife
Your donation to Wildlife Victoria will be used to:
- Keep our Wildlife Emergency Response Service operating 7 days a week
- Train and support more volunteer rescuers and transporters to attend wildlife emergencies around the state
- Educate the public on understanding and living more harmoniously with Australian wildlife
All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Donations can be made online using a credit card, debit card or paypal.
Alternatively, if you would like to make a direct deposit through your bank account, please contact us for our account details.

We welcome partnership and sponsorship enquiries and can provide tangible benefits to your business.

Employers: Wildlife Victoria is a charity with tax deductibility and DGR status so we qualify for most workplace giving programs – all you have to do is add us! Our ABN is 27 753 478 012. Please email us if you need direct deposit details.
Employees: Talk to your Payroll Manager to see if your workplace already has a workplace giving program and whether Wildlife Victoria is an approved charity in the program. If not, ask them to add it!
Please let them know they can contact us directly for donation deposit details.
Trusts & Foundations
Wildlife Victoria is a DGR type 1 charity and can accept grants from trusts and charitable foundations. Please contact us directly to discuss donations from your trust or foundation.
In Memoriam Donations
Often when a loved one passes away, family and friends want to do something special to honour their memory. If you’re after a lasting gesture, consider asking mourners to pledge a gift to Wildlife Victoria in their honour.
If you would like to request donations to Wildlife Victoria in lieu of flowers at the funeral service of your loved one, we can arrange to send out some special envelopes to make it as easy as possible. Please contact us or arrange for your funeral director to contact us directly.
Alternatively, you can set up your own In Memory webpage that can accept donations to Wildlife Victoria, and provide a place for donors to share messages of support to you as well as memories of your loved one.
Having a celebration and want to ask your guests for donations to Wildlife Victoria in lieu of gifts? Have a look at our fundraise for us page to get set up.
Leave a gift in your Will
A gift in your Will doesn't have to be large to make a real difference: just a small amount after your loved ones are provided for can have a significant impact on Victoria's wildlife. We call the people who have left a bequest to us our 'Wildlife Guardians', because their legacy will safeguard the future of our wildlife for generations to come.
When preparing your Will, it is important to make sure you use the correct wording to ensure your wishes are fulfilled. We strongly recommend that you seek professional advice from a Solicitor.
Download a copy of our bequest brochure for more information on becoming a Wildlife Guardian and types of bequests, as well as our full legal name, ABN and recommended wording.
Prefer to give your time instead? We always needs wildlife rescue and transport volunteers. Find out more about volunteering.
