Wildlife Victoria is seeking a pragmatic, flexible and results-orientated individual who is capable of fulfilling the requirements of the position. The successful applicant will have the ability to work on their own with little supervision but also enjoy contributing in a team environment. They will have experience in a small or medium sized enterprise, ideally in the not for profit sector. An interest and affinity with the natural environment and wildlife specifically, in light of the nature of the organisation’s focus is imperative.
This role forms part of a small, efficient, fun team and reports directly to the Finance & Administration Manager. The role is responsible for a wide range of finance and admin tasks and would suit someone with MYOB, MS Office and database skills. The role with initially be on a casual basis with a view to permanency. It is envisaged the role will not exceed 20 hours per week. The position is located in Abbotsford.

Wildlife Victoria is a charity organisation committed to reducing the suffering of wildlife by providing an emergency response service for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife across Victoria (13 000 94535). This vital community service is supported by over 1,500 trained and experienced volunteers. These dedicated volunteers assess, advise, rescue, educate, treat, rehabilitate and release the animals back into the wild. In many cases saving them from certain death and give them a new start in life. Last year we received over 70,000 calls for wildlife in need.
