Dr Tom Andrew

Veterinarian
BSc (Marine Biology and Zoology) BVSc

Tom holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from James Cook University in Queensland. He began his veterinary career in mixed practice and small animal emergency medicine, bringing a well-rounded clinical background to his current work. Before becoming a vet, Tom spent several years working closely with wildlife as a zookeeper and eco-tour guide across various institutions. Since joining Wildlife Victoria’s Travelling Veterinary Service, Tom has been at the forefront of rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of Australian wildlife, a role he finds both rewarding and inspiring.

 

Outside of work, Tom is a passionate outdoor enthusiast. Whether he's kitesurfing, paragliding, diving, or snowboarding, he’s always chasing his next adventure! When he's not out exploring, you’ll likely find him in the garden or spending time on the ocean, embracing nature in all its forms.
