Dr Tian Chen

Tian holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne. Since 2022, he has provided specialist support to Wildlife Victoria, attending complex in-field rescues that require darting expertise.

Tian is now part of Wildlife Victoria’s Travelling Veterinary Service. His career focus is wildlife medicine and epidemiology, and his PhD research examined the welfare impacts of chronic Phalaris toxicity on Eastern grey kangaroos.
