Report Wildlife Emergency

Emergency Response Operator

Our 24/7 year-round Emergency Response Service comprises the core of Wildlife Victoria’s mission to help and protect our native wildlife.  This exciting role is the key means to address calls from the community to assist injured, sick, or orphaned native wildlife in need of saving.

Now is the time to get on board with a progressive and purpose-driven organisation that has a supportive culture and close-knit team working towards one goal – protecting and saving our wildlife.  Whether you are starting your career, currently studying, working or winding down, what is most important to us is that you are passionate about Australia’s wildlife and want to make a difference by being at the frontline of incoming reports from members of the public about injured, sick or orphaned wildlife.

Due to the emergency services nature of the role, it is only offered on site and operates out of our headquarters at the Abbotsford Convent with beautiful surrounds, cafes, walking tracks and next to the Collingwood Animal Farm. We have flexible rosters with many shifts available between the hours of 6am to 9:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
