St. Patricks College, helping our wildlife

Wildlife Victoria would like to share our gratitude with the students and teachers from St. Patrick's College in Ballarat for their amazing support towards our native wildlife.

For the past 7 months they Hard at workhave been busy building 100 wooden nesting boxes for possums, gliders and other wildlife. This amazing work will support many of the wildlife carers in the region, who use the nesting boxes during the rehabilitation and release of many injured, orphaned and sick animals.

All carers are volunteers with no financial support, who look after many creatures in need, in order to give them a second chance in life. The generous donation from St. Patrick’s College’s will support the work of the volunteers and most importantly increase the survival rates of the animals released back into the wild.

Many lucky animals will be released in their brand new home, thanks to the hard work of the students.

Getting prepared

Wildlife Victoria would also like to extend a warm thanks to the suppliers and donors that made this project possible:  G. Gay and Co Home Hardware; Bunnings; Cameron's Metaland; and the Catholic Education Office (CEO).

So on behalf of Wildlife Victoria, the volunteers and in particular the animals
