In the last 6 months (Dec 2017- April 2018) our Emergency Service received reports of 1,338 individual macropods who had been hit by cars predominately in the morning and early hours of the evening. Please see our fact sheet on Safe-Driving Around Wildlife for more information.

These can be printed off and displayed in an area where you've spotted ducklings, baby birds, and swooping birds to alert the community and share a little bit of information about these situations. We suggest printing in A4 and popping into a plastic pocket to minimise damage, but please remember to remove them at the end of the season!
