Earth Day

Date / Time

Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 with events worldwide in support of the environment and to raise awareness for the environmental protection and care of our planet. The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970 is considered to be the birthday of the modern environmental protection movement. Today, Earth Day is celebrated in more than 193 countries each year. The Earth Day theme for 2019 is 'Protect Our Species'.
