Wildlife Victoria COVID-19 Response

 

During Stage 3 restrictions:

  • Sick, injured and orphaned wildlife can still be reported on 03 8400 7300, online via our report function or using the Snap Send Solve app.
  • Wildlife volunteers will not be able to enter a private dwelling and must maintain a distance of at least 1.5m from other persons
  • Vet clinics will require you to call ahead before dropping off wildlife
  • Wildlife volunteers may not always be available in your area

There is no evidence that the Novel Coronavirus occurs in Australian wildlife, and there is no risk of contracting it from wildlife.
