"G'day... I'm David Tree I was doing some work with my CFA crew this summer, when I came across a burnt and thirsty koala. I gave her a drink, she held my hand, and in that simple gesture she touched many around the world.
For me, the experience was life changing. For Wildlife Victoria volunteers, rescuing our animal friends is just part of the job.
Thank you to everyone who helped Wildlife Victoria relieve suffering and save animals' lives during this devastating Victorian Bushfires. The job will continue for a long time yet. The treatment and rehabilitation of the animals injured by these fires will take many months, the recovery of habitats and animal populations will take many, many years... Donations to Wildlife Victoria made before 30th June are tax deductible on your next tax return. Please help us with the long term treatment and rehabilitaiton of injured wildlife and habitats... and help our precious native animals rise out of the ashes...
