Healesville Sanctuary Diet Sheets Please note the following:

  1. These sheets are constantly reviewed and modified. They represent a work in progress.

  2. The absolute amounts offered are calculated for individual healthy animals. The amount will vary between individual animals and health status. Conditions like stress, preganacy, lactation, sickness or injury will all effect metabolic rate and the amount of food that needs to be offered. In other cases the food items listed will not be given to sick animals at all. For examples some birds which present wounded and dehydrated might be given polyaid or lectade or granivore by crop tube instead of a seed mix.
