Since the opening of the new professional Emergency Phone service Wildlife Victoria has been keeping accurate records of all the rescue incidents that have occurred throughout the state. New technology allows us to easily map the incident levels.
has been in operation since September 2009. With 20 years of volunteer service the new professional system has taken hundreds of calls from across the state. The picture shows the enormous area that our phone service operates in and how widely spread are our dedicated volunteer rescuers and wildlife shelters. If you are interested in helping with wildlife rescue then the volunteering page has more information. If you would like to donate to help the Emergency Phone service your donation will help us continue this essential service. Wildlife Victoria receives no government funding to operate the Emergency Phone Service. Your donation is tax deductible.
