Whether its Sam the koala, snakes, wombats, reptiles, kangaroos or birds, David has been lending a hand to wildlife all his life.
David came into the Wildlife Victoria office yesterday to meet and thank the team of office volunteers who have been lending a hand to the 100s of volunteers in the field.
"I have nothing but praise for everything you are doing, wildlife couldn't be in better hands." he added.
