'Tis the season ...

birds are very protective parents and at the moment, with Spring just around the corner, we are seeing an increase in the levels of protective behaviour from these diligent parents.  We also have an increase in ducklings and fledglings around with people wanting to know how to help.

We wanted to raise $15,000 to help rebuild the Gembrook Wildlife Shetler which was burnt down, with your support we have raised an amazing $17,440 which will go directly to Helen, the volunteer who runs this integral community service.

If you love animals and would like to help them, then look no further!  Wildlife Victoria assists in providing all sorts of training in wildlife rescue, care, and disaster response.

An invitation from the Cheshire School for someone from Wildlife Victoria to visit and talk to them about wildlife rescue and rehabilitation was well received. 

Wildlife Protestors gathered at Parliament House on Wednesday to bring the government the messages of grief and anger written on the 'Spirit Kangaroos' at the Memorial Protest on the previous Sunday.

Templestowe Retirement Village is one of our busiest knitting groups however they need more wool to keep up with demand.
