How are we funded? Wildlife Victoria is fully funded by donations from the public. Wildlife Victoria does not receive government funding for its essential service to wildlife.
Where does the money go? Wildlife Victoria operates an Emergency Phone Service, whereby the community can call to report an injured, sick and orphaned native animal anywhere in the state of Victoria. We have trained operators who answer the phone to help you with your wildlife emergency. Some calls will require further action from a volunteer and some will simply be advice given from our trained operators. Furthermore, we run training seminars for our dedicated volunteer network.
